We've seen hundreds of wrestlers enter the Royal Rumble already but you might be surprised to learn that some notable wrestlers haven't entered said match before!
So yes, let's take a look at 10 wrestlers who never entered the Royal Rumble!
Kamala had feuds with the likes of Andre the Giant,Hulk Hogan,The Undertaker, and Jake Roberts. He also had a short tag-team run with Wild Samoan Sika after Afa retired.
Kamala then returned to WWE for a short time in 2004 until 2006 in which he mainly feuded with the late Umaga. According to sources he was supposed to be enter Royal Rumble 1993 but didn't show up for some reason.
Despite not being a fully trained wrestler, Shane was an amazing performer! Hell, he can wrestle better than a lot of talent these days with his impressive highflying maneuvers.
Shane left the WWE in 2010 and started out his own business agendas. Good for you Shane O'Mac!
Anyway he is probably best remembered for his runs on NWA/WCW but he did compete in WWF on multiple occasions under various gimmicks.
The best was his tag-team run with brother-in-law; Mike Rotunda as The U.S. Express where they were managed by Capt. Lou Albano. He also went onto under gimmicks such as; Widowmaker & The Stalker.
He also had a second tag-team run with; Blackjack Bradshaw (aka JBL) as The New Blackjacks. Windham of course being the son of Mulligan, while Bradshaw is nephew of Lanza.
Despite all of those gimmicks Windham wasn't able to enter the Royal Rumble, not even once. Probably because most of those gimmicks (except the U.S. Express tag-team) aren't that good in which he was lead onto minimum success on WWF.
He was inducted on the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of The Four Horsemen.
George "The Animal" Steele
George has competed in WWF from the 70's until the 80's. His most notable feud was against "Macho Man" Randy Savage when The Animal started to show affection for Ms. Elizabeth. Oh and yes, how can we forget that he LOVES to eat turnbuckles!
Despite his long run in the WWF, he never once entered the Royal Rumble! Starting from the 90's until now, George has been appearing sporadically in WWE. Most recently in an Old School RAW episode.
He feuded with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and was a member of the newly reformed; Hart Foundation. Even though he didn't win a belt at his run there, he had a decent run but was never a Royal Rumble Entrant.
Rest in Peace Loose Cannon.
Despite having a semi-successful run he didn't enter the Royal Rumble. After 2 years in the WWE he decided to retire but still works for WWE to this day as a trainer.
Dynamite had a four year run in the WWF but he never entered the Royal Rumble once, but to be fair the Royal Rumble did start at the end of his run which was 1988.
After being released from WWF, he wrestled mainly for Japan but for Stampede Wrestling as well. Due to multiple injuries he was forced to retire and is sadly paralyzed to a wheelchair now.
Now that both of The Dudley Boyz are back there's a high chance of D-Von finally making his Royal Rumble debut! I know he won't win but hey, both him & Bubba can still put on a great performance in the Rumble.
After his runs on NWA and AWA, Scott Hall was re-packaged as Razor Ramon in WWF and was pushed early in his run (a push in which he deserves in my opinion.)
In his 5 year run with the company, Razor Ramon was able to become a four-time Intercontinental Champion! His second run on WWF in 2002 wasn't great though due to Hall's involvement with drugs.
It's mind boggling that Fake Razor Ramon entered the Royal Rumble before but the real one never did!
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.
The Dragon had two runs in the WWF/E. His first one was in the 80's where he became a one-time Intercontinental Champion and had a great feud against Randy Savage! He then returned to WWE on 2005 and stayed with the company whether wrestling occasionally or just making appearances in general.
His first run was from 1985 until 1988 so yeah just like Dynamite Kid his last run was when the Royal Rumble became a thing. But it's still shocking to know that a Hall of Famer like Steamboat never entered the Rumble!
