During the 60's, Lewin embarked in a singles career. He also went on to have a new gimmick called "Maniac" Mark Lewin wherein he had a split personality like-gimmick. At this point he can be classified both as a face when he is just plain ol' Mark Lewin and as a heel when he is "Maniac" Mark Lewin which was pretty interesting.
During the 60's to 70's Lewin was touring all over Australia & New Zealand where he would find success both as a singles and tag-team competitor. He would constantly feud with the likes of The Sheik,Terry Funk,Gene Kiniski, and "Bulldog" Bob Brown.
At the latter part of his career, Lewin had another gimmick called "Purple Haze" during his run at WCCW where he was a member of Kevin Sullivan's cult "Army of Darkness." In the 80's he would constantly be wrestling against Sabu.
In 1998 Mark Lewin decided to hang up the boots.
Most recent news about Mark Lewin is that he recently had his book about his wrestling career which is called "The Multiple Personalities of Mark Lewin" which you can check out here! He has also made shoot interviews which can be viewed on YouTube.
Make sure to come back next week for more!
