Jon Stewart will be hosting the PPV but I could care less about that since I'm not really a big fan of his. Also were only just four PPV's away till the Royal Rumble so that's another thing to look forward for!
Anyhow it's time to share my predictions for 2015's WWE SummerSlam!
Feel free to leave your own predictions and thoughts on the comments too!
Match #1 - Singles Match:
Rusev (w/ Summer Rae) vs Dolph Ziggler (w/ Lana)
I'm honestly not a big fan of love angles in WWE, they're too cliche and often times boring but that's just my opinion. Anyway the stupid storyline aside, I think Rusev and Ziggler will have a good match against each other (hopefully.)
I think it is an obvious choice for Ziggler to win this match, he is the babyface afterall. We might also see Lana and Summer Rae have a scuffle here and there.
Anyways you gotta feel bad for Rusev, just on WrestleMania 31 he did his entrance on a fucking tank of all things! Now he's just a part of a love triangle... or love square if you include Summer Rae!
Match #2 - Singles Match:
Kevin Owens vs Cesaro
Now this match is really a treat for all of the hardcore indie wrestling fans out there because Kevin Owens and Cesaro have already faced each other a couple of times before since their indie wrestling days!
It's awesome to see that both men are now on the major promotion and will face-off at SummerSlam! It should be an excellent match between these two young guns who are obviously overdued for a title.
This is really a hard choice for me but I gotta go with Kevin Owens. He's a newcomer and I hope WWE or even Vince won't give up on him easily. If this will turn out as an excellent match (which it will be) it won't really affect much of Cesaro in my opinion, so yeah I'll go with Owens!
Match #3 - Three Team Elimination Match:
PCB vs Team Bellas vs Team B.A.D
I'm really amazed where WWE is definitely going with their Divas Division with this Divas Revolution thing. Three great stables are going to face-off at SummerSlam and it shouldn't be a piss-break worthy match with all of the great divas involved!
Now I like Team B.A.D and I think their a pretty talented team but my money goes on to Paige,Charlotte, and Becky Lynch! They will definitely win this one and keep up the Divas Revolution going.
As for Team Bellas, if they win this the whole Divas Revolution thing would turn out pointless. Anyway I hope we would see less botches and it will turn to a good match!
Match #4 - Tag-Team Match:
Stephen Amell & Neville vs Stardust & King Barrett
Now I usually don't like celebrities getting involved with WWE or wrestling in general but Stephen Amell seems like he will do perfectly fine in the ring, especially with Neville by his side.
I have never watched Arrow but I'll still go with him and Neville because obviously why would WWE let a celebrity lose right? I also think they could've had Goldust instead of King Barrett but I'm not really sure why he's not there to be partners with his brother.
I'm not having high expectations with this match but hey we will see how it turns out.
Match #5 - WWE Tag-Team Championships:
Prime Time Players (c) vs New Day vs Lucha Dragons vs Los Matadores
In my opinion the WWE Tag-Team Championship has really lost it's deal and I could care less who gets the belt at this point but if I guess I have to pick a team so I'm going with The New Day.
I really used to hate New Day before but now their really starting to grow on me as a team so hopefully WWE won't disband them anytime soon.
So yeah there's that.
Match #6 - Tag-Team Match:
Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper vs Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns
Even though a lot of people think that Ambrose & Reigns will take victory on this match, I'm putting my money on The Wyatt Family; Bray & Harper!
Yeah sure a part of it is because I'm a really big fan of The Wyatt Family (and I'm really happy that their back now) but also both of them really need a win so they could start rolling back again.
I know Dean Ambrose does need a major victory as well but I want The Wyatts to take the victory!
Match #7 - Intercontinental Championship:
Big Show vs Ryback (c) vs The Miz
Another belt that seemed to have loss it's true meaning is the Intercontinental Belt. It doesn't even feel like it's the second major belt anymore even though a guy like Ryback is holding it.
Anyway I think Ryback would still retain the belt. Big Show is rumored to be near retirement and I honestly won't like to see The Miz be IC Champ again so yeah my money is on The Big Guy!
Match #8 - Singles Match:
Randy Orton vs Sheamus
I'm not a big fan of their feud but you can never really go wrong with Randy Orton and Sheamus in terms of wrestling so it should be a good match between the two.
Now Orton won their last encounter in BattleGround and I think that's pointless because here is Sheamus your Mr. Money in the Bank and he's just going to lose a singles match? That's BS!
So yeah I think Sheamus will win this match and hopefully they would at least billed him as a worthy No. 1 Contender for the belt despite I don't see him winning World title at all.
Match #9 - Winner Takes All Singles Match:
John Cena (c) vs Seth Rollins (c)
Now I know a lot of you John Cena haters out there are not gonna like my pick for this match but I really think the Superman of WWE is going to win this match, take the World title off Seth Rollins and be a double champion.
Why? Well first off Ric Flair has already said that he allows John Cena and the WWE to break his championship record of being a 16-time World Heavyweight Champion.
Plus I think it's time for Rollins to put the belt down for now. Sure he had a good run with it but maybe he should go and do other things, maybe re-unite with The Shield?
Basically... CENA WINS LOL!
Match #10 - Main Event:
Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker
I never expected this to be the Main Event for SummerSlam but hey, if this is what WWE is giving us then I'm not complaining cause looking at the past few RAW's I'm really excited to see Taker & Lesnar kick each other asses again in a real match!
For me, it doesn't matter who's the babyface or heel it's just a matter on who's gonna whoop someone else's ass better and I think The Undertaker will take victory!
Why? Because first off The Streak should have never been broken (but I've complained enough about that already) and second why bring back The Undertaker if he's gonna lose again right?
And probably also is because I'm a big Undertaker fan, he's my most favorite wrestler of ALL TIME so obviously my money's on The Deadman!
